WELLOG reduces potential risk to our
customers and the public. We have discontinued the use of radioactive
materials. Other methods using acoustic, electric, and electromagnetic methods
allow measurement of physical properties with improved safety to personnel and
the environment.

WELLOG created this website in order to
promote its business and educate students, teachers, members of industry, and
the general public on the science of Geophysics, Well Logging and Log
Interpretation. Because the applications of well logging include mining, energy
and water resources, resources our website provides information on all of these
industries.
WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:
WELLOG has established its business in
Arizona in order to support well logging, well video and geophysical research
needs throughout North America.
HOW WE DO BUSINESS:
WELLOG is founded on honesty, service,
and promotion and understanding of surface and subsurface geophysics.
WHO WE ASSOCIATE WITH:
WELLOG is a member of: The Society of
Petrophysical Well Analysts, (SPWLA), Groundwater Foundation, American
Groundwater Trust, and the American Geophysical Union.
WE GIVE AND RECEIVE TRAINING:
WELLOG is continually receiving and
providing training on all aspects of well logging, surface, and subsurface
geophysics.
WE HAVE EXPERIENCE:
WELLOG personnel have extensive
backgrounds in Electronics, Geology, Geophysics, Well Logging and Mining. Our
President and Chief Operations Officer, Chuck Merritt, began his career in the
offshore oil field in Kenai, Alaska working for Schlumberger Offshore, advanced
to Logging Engineer and Training Engineer at WELEX and Dresser Industries. He
worked in Regional Well Logging sales in the Rocky Mountains. He is currently
active in state-of-the-art geophysical system design, development, consulting,
training, research, and project engineering.
INSURANCE:
WELLOG carries commercial liability
insurance in accordance with industry standards.
WELLOG defines its liabilities and
those of its customers using industry standard service requests.

WELLOG is a partnership of talented
people having geotechnical, engineering and management backgrounds.

Analysis) is a proven approach to accident prevention and hazard reduction.

current field verifiable calibration.
WELLOG uses high speed Data Acquisition
Systems to accurately acquire and record data.
WELLOG transforms raw data into easy to
read and understand log formats. Our surface contour maps provide
accurate presentation using Surfer.
